York has one of the most vibrant film communities in the UK right now prompting some industry insiders to compare it to the Vancouver of 15 years ago.  There’s a well documented indie film scene in the city, but we thought we’d share with you some of the major films to come out of the area that you might not be aware of.  Here are the 8 biggest films and their authentic movie posters:
